  • In any hand having only one card Jack or better, preserve the single high card and reject all other cards and redraw.

  • In any hand with a 2-pair, hold both pair and refuse the odd-card.
  • In any hand holding 3-of-a-kind keep the three-of-a-kind and refuse the other two cards.
  • In any hand with 4 to a Straight, preserve all four Straight cards and re-draw – unless the Straight draw is not open-ended and the hand is with a Jack)
  • In any hand holding 4 to a Flush, preserve the four Flush – unless the hand holds three to the Royal in which case you would draw to the Royal Flush
  • In any hand holding four-of-a-kind, hold anything since a one-card draw will not improve the cards.
  • In any hand with 3 to a Royal Flush, reject almost everything else and go for the Royal – unless the hand is already a Sraight Flush!
